Anthony G. Venneri Jr.

Liberty- Anthony G. Venneri Jr., 86, passed away Friday, March 27, 2026.

He was born July 5, 1939 in Leetonia, the son of Anthony and Mary Venneri.

He was a graduate of Campbell Memorial High School and proudly served in the U.S. Army.

Anthony was employed with the Operating Engineers Local 66 and International Mill Service Supervisor for 42 years until his retirement in 2002.

He was a devout Catholic and attended church at St. Rose. He enjoyed playing slots, animal watching and nurturing, planting and maintaining a garden, and taking care of his chunky dog, Diesel.

Anthony will always be remembered lovingly by three children, Anthony G. Venneri III, William C. (Michele) Venneri, and Stephen J. Venneri; five grandchildren, Anthony, William, Blade, Taylor, and Cheyanne; and two great grandchildren Alliyah and Alina.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two siblings, Lou Venneri and Rose Bianconi; and his daughter, Vicky Venneri (Berk).

Family and friends may pay their respects from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 2, 2026 at the Rossi Brothers and Lellio Funeral Home, 4442 South Avenue in Boardman.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, April 3, 2026 at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Anthony's name to Animal Charities of Ohio, Animal Welfare League of Trumbull County, or Healthy Hearts and Paws.
