Antoine Narcisse Jr. "Tony" "Pop", 84, was born in St. Martinville, Louisiana to Anthony and Eula Narcisse. Born in St. Martinville he was raised in the Catholic faith and a graduate of Washington High School, in Lake Charles, Louisiana. He was a United States Army veteran. Mr. Narcisse moved to Oakland, California where he resided for fifty years and was employed by Brinks for thirty-three of those years. In 2005, after retirement, he moved back to Lake Charles, Louisiana where he worked for the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff Office as a school crossing guard. Mr. Narcisse departed this life Monday, June 24, 2024, in Texas. He leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Darline Garrison Narcisse; daughter, Terri Gail (Rudolph) Kirk; sons, Antoine and Anthony (Rita) Narcisse; stepson, Calvin (Adina) Carrington Jr.; brother, Paul (Rose) Narcisse; sister/cousin, Mary Ella "Tunnie" Malvo; eighteen grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Rita Narcisse and Margaret Pellerin; brothers, George, Joe, and Correst "Pete" Narcisse. His visitation will be Saturday, July 6, 2024, from 8:30AM to 10:30AM at James Funeral Home, with his funeral following at 11AM, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church located at 610 Louisiana Avenue. Burial will be in the Southwest Louisiana Veterans Cemetery in Jennings on Monday, July 8, 2024.
