Mrs. Antoinette Floyd-Wade, 57, of Ludowici, Ga. passed away on Sunday, September 07, 2025 at St. Joseph's/Candler Hospital following a brief illness. She was born on November 10, 1967 to the late Luther Floyd, Sr and Emma Rose Axson-Floyd in Savannah, Ga. "Toni" as she was affectionately known by family and friends alike was educated in the public school system of Wayne County and attended Altamaha Tech where she studied cosmetology. Toni was also an entrepreneur, she had her own daycare, T.W.'s Wonderland which was very successful. In her free time, she enjoyed praising the Lord, spending time with her family and friends, shopping and being that interior decorator that came so naturally for her. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Toni was a member of Greater Refuge Cathedral COGIC in Sylvania, Ga. under the leadership of Pastor Allen D. Tillman where she served on the Pastor's Aide Board.
Toni was preceded in death by both parents, Luther and Emma Rose Floyd, Sr.; her daughter, Katherine Angelica Floyd; her sister, Samantha J. Floyd; her brother, James L. Floyd and her nieces, Teocha S. and Taneka S. Newkirk and her mother in-law, Frankie Wade.
Those left to cherish her memories: her loving husband of (27) years, Sgt. L.S. Wade, Jr., Ludowici, Ga.; her daughters, Miariam Floyd, Savannah, Ga. and Mary Floyd, N. Chesterfield, Va.; and a niece that she raised as a daughter, Phallon Floyd, Jonesboro, Ga.; her grandchildren, Joshua Armstead, Jeremiah Baines, Jayceon Nino, Joel Nino and Jamari Harris; her sisters, Josette Floyd, Ravenel, SC, Lora Floyd and Aaerica Chambers, both of Houston, TX; her brothers, Luther (Wanda) Floyd,
Jesup, Ga. and Jean (Angela) Floyd, Jonesboro, Ga.; her aunt, Vivian Floyd, Savannah, Ga.; her uncles, Richard Lee (Winnie) Axson and Clarence (Lenora) Axson, both of Savannah, Ga.; her father in-law, L.S. Wade, Sr.; her brother in-laws, Curtis (Ashoki) Wade, Belzoni, Ms. and Gene (Angela) Wade, Indianola, Ms.; her close friends, Travis (Jamaica) Mitchell, Lavoris (Darrell) Reed, Sydney (Andrew) Walden and Mary Lisa Quimby, as well as a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends that will miss her immensely.
There will be a visitation held at Royal Funeral Home Chapel, 247 W. Pine Street,
Jesup, Ga. 31545 on Friday, September 19, 2025 from 6-8 pm.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 20, 2025 @ 11:00 a.m. at Jesus First Community Church, 2202 US Hwy 80 West, Garden City, Ga. 31408. Interment in Woodville Cemetery, 125 Spring Street, Savannah, Ga. 31408. Repast will be held at Jesus First Community Church Social Hall immediately following the interment.
