Antonia "Toni" Veneziano, a cherished matriarch, and beacon of love and faith, passed away peacefully on May 29, 2025, at the age of 84 in her hometown of Leominster, Massachusetts.
Born on April 17, 1941, to the late Salvatore and Nancy Spinelli, Toni grew up surrounded by a large and loving family, including her brothers Salvatore, Gaetano, Dennis, Dominic, Ronald, and Richard Spinelli, and her sisters, Francis and Nancy Logue.
Toni's life was a testament to her intelligence, loving nature, and deep-rooted faith. After graduating from Mount Wachusett Community College in Gardner, she dedicated her life to the noble profession of nursing, caring for countless individuals with compassion and expertise until her retirement. Her professional journey reflected her intrinsic desire to help others and left a lasting impact on her community.
Family was the cornerstone of Toni's world. She was a devoted mother to her three sons, Robert Veneziano and his wife Karen of Fitchburg, Joseph Veneziano and his wife Teresa of Leominster, John and Joan Veneziano of Vero Beach, Florida. Her legacy continues through her adoring grandchildren, Matt Veneziano, Valarie Leader, Joshua Veneziano, Joseph Veneziano, Michael Veneziano, Cristopher Enright, Alicia Veneziano, and Karissa Sharos, and her 18 great-grandchildren, who brought her immense joy and pride.
Despite her busy life, Toni found time to indulge in her interests. She was known to enjoy the occasional thrill of a game of chance at the casinos, a pastime that brought her excitement and pleasure. Her intelligence shone through in every aspect of her life, from her strategic approach to games to her insightful conversations with loved ones.
Toni's loving and faith-filled nature was evident to all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Her presence was a source of comfort and strength, and her guidance was sought after by many. She navigated life's challenges with grace and unwavering trust in her beliefs, inspiring those around her to do the same.
As we bid farewell to Antonia Veneziano, we honor a life beautifully lived and a soul that touched so many. Her memory will be cherished eternally in the hearts of her family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to cross paths with her. Toni's spirit, characterized by love, faith, and intelligence, will continue to guide and influence generations to come. Her departure leaves behind a legacy of warmth, care, and devotion that will forever be remembered and celebrated.
A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, June 13 at St. Anna Parish, 194 Lancaster St. at 11:00 A.M., with a burial to follow in St. Leo Cemetery.
