Antonio Ceja

Antonio Ceja, age 69, passed away on February 8, 2026. Born April 27, 1956 in Abadiano, Michoacán, Mexico. As the eldest of 6, Antonio learned early on how to care for family and to dream big. Moving to Chicago as a teenager, where he met his beloved wife, Elena. They would have been married 45 years come this July.

Antonio was a loving and dedicated son, who always took care of his mom and was just as loving as father to his daughter and son, Rebecca and Tony. He was known as the Godfather of the family with 23 God children, and also an uncle to 27 nieces and nephews. A real pillar of the family and an overall selfless man.

He valued family more than anything and dedicated his life to hard work, helping others and finding humor in everything. Those that knew him well, know that his passion for soccer and love for the game is unmatched.

Antonio was a true and honorable man, having him in our family was a blessing. He opened doors for many, and was a great role model. His spirit and love will live on for many generations to come.
