In Loving Memory of
Antonio Gonzales, Jr.
October 18, 1948 – November 22, 2025
Antonio Gonzales, Jr. embarked on his final journey on November 22, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family in his cherished hometown of San Antonio, Texas. Born on October 18, 1948, to Maria De Jesusa Gonzales and the late Antonio Gonzales Sr., Antonio lived a life rooted in loyalty, love, and deep pride in his heritage.
Antonio leaves behind a rich legacy of devotion to his family. He is survived by his beloved wife, Beatrice Gonzales, and their daughter, Crystal Dominguez, along with his favorite son-in-law, Nestor Dominguez. Being a grandfather also known as Popo to Nikolaj, Hazelle, Kaia, and Jakoby Dominguez brought him immeasurable joy. He was a loving brother to Arnulfo Gonzales, Armando Gonzales, and Yolanda Del Toro, and he forever held the memory of his late brother Abel Gonzales close to his heart.
A proud Vietnam U.S. Army veteran, Antonio carried the discipline, honor, and camaraderie of his service throughout his life. His work history reflects not just dedication, but also the many friendships he built and the lives he touched. His involvement in various associations showed his lifelong commitment to helping others and uplifting his community.
Antonio's interests revealed the heart of a man who appreciated life's simple pleasures. He loved listening to music, creating a soundtrack for the moments shared with those he loved. Watching sports especially Dallas Cowboys brought him excitement and connection, celebrating victories and enduring losses with equal passion.
Words like loving, spirited, and thoughtful only begin to describe him. Antonio's sense of humor had a presence that could brighten any room, and an energy that inspired others to embrace life with enthusiasm and courage.
As we say farewell, we know Antonio's spirit will continue to guide and inspire us. His story is not one of sorrow, but of a life lived fully, generously, and with purpose. His memory encourages us to love deeply, face challenges bravely, and always lend a helping hand.
Although he is no longer here in body, Antonio's light lives on, inspiring joy, resilience, and lasting love.
