Antonio Maximiliano Hernandez, Sr. was born August 24, 1954, in Sterling, CO to Gerardo and Victoria Hernandez. At a very young age his family moved back home to Jalisco, Mexico. He grew up working alongside his parents and 10 other siblings on the family farm and raising dairy cows, which is probably where he grew to love nature and the outdoors.
At the age of 20 in 1974 he met the woman who became his wife Rosemary. They lived in Nebraska, Texas and Mexico throughout their marriage and had a total of 2 sons, Antonio Jr and Hector and 3 daughters, Maria Victoria, Maria Victoria (Vicky) and Veronica. Eventually, they settled in San Antonio, Tx until his recent passing.
He became an entrepreneur and owned his own landscaping company. He loved nature and above all he loved being around and enjoying his family. His energy was infectious and he was very sincere.
On January 27, 2026, Antonio passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his family.
He is survived by his wife Rosemary; 3 children, Antonio Jr, Hector and Veronica; Children-In-Law Jimmy and Laura; 4 grandchildren Carlitos, Angelina Monique, Alexis Love and Alexia Lauren; and his siblings Olga, Glafira, Rafael, Selina, Leonor, Gerardo Jr, Laura and Maria.
Antonio was preceded in death by his parents, Gerardo and Victoria, three sisters, Lilia, Irma, and Aida and his two daughters Maria Victoria and Maria Victoria (Vicky).
He will be missed by his family and friends!
