April was born on April 24, 1978, in Grundy, VA, to the late Henry Stacy and Donna Christian Stacy. She graduated from Grundy High School. She worked at Food City. April was a friend to all and will be missed by all who knew her.
April is survived by:
Her Companion of 20 Years, Danny Osborne
Son, Dakota Underwood, and wife, Lisa, of Bluefield, VA
Daughter, Jasmine Underwood, and fiancée, Benny Mitchell, of Richlands, VA
Sister, Jennifer Smith, and her husband, Jimmie, of Clarksville, TN
One grandchild, James Allen Leon Underwood
A host of family and friends also survive.
Funeral services for April Dawn Christian will be conducted on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at 1:00 PM at Hurst-Scott Funeral Home in Richlands, VA, with Bro. Ronald Lester officiating. Interment will follow at the Osborne-Christian Family Cemetery on Bearwallow, near Jewell Ridge, VA. Relatives and Friends will serve as pallbearers. Friends may visit with the family from 11:00 AM until the time of the service.
Hurst Scott Funeral Home in Richlands is in charge of the arrangements. Those wishing to express sympathy may do so at www.hurstscottfunerlahomes.com
