April Lockaby, 32, of Murphy, North Carolina, passed away on Tuesday, December 26, 2023, in Murphy, NC. April was born March 23, 1991, in Murphy, NC to Max and Ann Lockaby.
April was preceded in death by her mother Ann Register; sister, Hope Hohmann; sister, Amber Teesateskie; grandfathers; Max Lockaby; grandfather, Jr. Johnson.
She is survived by her father; Max Lockaby, sisters; Ariel Wilkins, Brandie Hardin, Heather Hamby, and Alexis Lockaby, brothers; Roy Lockaby, Andrew Lockaby, Bradley Lockaby, and Aaron Hughes, Grandmothers; Margret Johnson and Judy Lockaby, and Boyfriend, Andrew Moneymaker.
April loved her animals, her music, and her mother. Her favorite pastime included swimming.
The family will receive friends at Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Murphy, NC on Saturday, 6th of January, 2024 from 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM. Memorial service to follow at 2:00pm at Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Murphy, NC, with Nathan Rose officiating.
In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to the Valley River Humane Society in Murphy, NC.
