Roy Lockaby, 30 of Murphy, North Carolina, passed away on Thursday September 11, 2025 in Murphy NC. Roy was born June 18th 1995 to Max Lockaby and Patricia Eller.
Roy was preceded in death by his sisters Hope Hohmann; and April Lockaby, grandmothers Judy Lockaby and Doris Eller. Grand fathers Max Lockaby and Fred Eller.
He is survived by his father Max Lockaby, and mother Patricia Eller of Murphy. Step mother Jody Lockaby, Sisters Heather Hamby and husband Ryan Hamby. Ariel Wilkins and husband Steven Wilkins. Alexis Lockaby, Brandi Hardin, and Tosha Eller. Brothers Andrew and Bradley Lockaby. Nieces; Myah, Faith and Kambryn. Nephews; Ian, Carson, Corbin, Wyatt, and Branson.
Roy loved to sing, making people laugh and spending time with his family. In his pastime he liked to hunt, fish and contribute his time in helping others.
Despite his battles with addiction, Roy was a hard worker, faithful to his family and loved the lord.
