April Maples Obituary
Born April 12, 1972 in Ranson, WV, she was the daughter of the late Nelson Grove and Anna Howell Grove.
She was of the Pentecostal faith.
April loved drinking coffee on her porch and making family meals for sharing time around the table.
She is survived by her longtime companion, Randy Brackett, two daughters, Ashley Maples(JR Marcus) of Shenandoah Junction, and Danielle Doyle (Joseph) of Charles Town, three sons, Brandon Maples, Skyler McDaniel, and Brayden McDaniel, six grandchildren, Elsie, Cambria, Keyairah, Landen, Liam and Logan, two sisters, Karen Smoot (Anthony) and Robin Waters (Kenny), four brothers, James Grove (Christine), Dwayne Grove, Mark Grove and Randall Grove and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four sisters, Donna Everhart, Antionette Everhart, Trudy Kirk, and Lisa Bond, one brother, Donald Grove and one nephew, Joshua Grove.
Services will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, February 5, 2026 at Eackles-Spencer & Norton Funeral Home, 256 Halltown Road, Harpers Ferry, WV with Pastor Joseph Brarshear officiating.
Interment will follow in Silver Grove Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, February 4, 2026 from 6-8 pm.
Pallbearers will be Jonathan Grove, James Francis, Marshall Grove, Toby Mills, Derek Smoot, Paul Grove, Randy Brackett and Brayden McDaniel.
