It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Araceli Monrreal, affectionately known to her loved ones as Chely. She was born on August 5th, 1977 in Matamoros, Tamaulipas, and passed away on October 19th, 2025, in Dickinson, Texas at the age of 48. Her passing leaves a profound void in those who knew her, and her memory will live on in the hearts of her loved ones.
Araceli was a kind, generous person, and above all, someone deeply loved by her loved ones. She left a significant mark on all who had the privilege of knowing her. Chely dedicated herself to being a childcare teacher for over a decade, where her dedication and love were received by all her students. Baking was one of her favorite ways to celebrate her family and friends; the delicious cakes she would share will never be forgotten. Most of all, she loved her garden-especially her succulents. She is survived by her husband, Lucio, and her children, Alexis, Alan, and Stephanie.
