Psalm 23:4-6 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; you anoint my head with oil; my cup runs over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.

Archie "Doug" Huddle, 88, a Christian and family man was born on June 17, 1937, to the late Paul and Lois Huddle, passed away on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, after a long illness.

He was a member of Emory United Methodist Church for many years.

Those left to cherish his memory are his daughter and son-in-law, Angela and Gary Shrum; son and daughter-in-law, Wendell and Cindy Huddle; son and daughter-in- law, Andy and Michelle Huddle; and the mother of his children and caretaker, Sandra Huddle Crowder.
