Ardith Carlisle Obituary
Ardith Nelma Carlisle, aged 91, passed away on October 4, 2024, in Mobile, AL. Born on February 14, 1933, Ardith spent her formative years in Millry, where she graduated from Millry High School. Ardith dedicated her professional life to the bowling industry, where she worked in various bowling lanes, fostering a community of friends around the sport she also personally enjoyed.
Ardith was a devout churchgoer, an avid reader of the Bible, and found great joy in gardening and tending to her yard. Her hobbies also included bowling and spending cherished moments with her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Edward Hall Jr.; her parents, Cleston Whigham Sr. and Emily Viola Whigham; her brothers, Arthur Whigham, Hannis Whigham, and Cleston Whigham Jr.; and her sisters, Stella Bryson and Elsie Morgan; Daughter-in-law, Joy Hall
She leaves behind a loving family: her son Keith Hall and his wife, Pam; her son Rusty Hall; her grandchildren, Jonathan, Drew, Christopher Hall, and Emily Jones; and her eleven great-grandchildren.
Ardith's life will be honored at Memorial Gardens, 6100 Three Notch Road, Mobile, AL, on Saturday, October 12, 2024. A viewing will be held at 10:00 AM at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home followed by a graveside service at 11:00 AM.
