Argentina Chiulli

Argentina Chiulli, age 89, affectionately known as "Tina," passed away on June 25, 2025. She
was a resident of Lynbrook for 52 years. She was pre-deceased by her loving husband of 46
years, Dominick. She was born in Cugnoli, Italy to Cesare and Adele Mezzanotte.
Tina was a devoted mother to her son Dominick, her daughter-in-law Lee Anne and loving
grandmother to Kate. She is also survived by her sister Argia of Beacon, NY.
Tina worked at the East Rockaway Nursing Home for 25 years and then at The Atria Assisted
Living in Lynbrook. She loved being around people and treated her clients like family. She
wished she could have worked there longer.
Tina was an amazing cook. There is not a pizza parlor on the planet that can compare to her
homemade pizza. At Easter, she made sure that everyone got one of her delicious homemade
cheese pies. She was also an expert at making various types of Italian cookies, including
pizzelles, which her family enjoyed at every special occasion.
Tina love tending to her garden and shared her tomatoes, potatoes, basil, lettuce, figs and peaches
with her loved ones and neighbors.
Tina loved shopping and would spend hours with her daughter-in-law at Kohls picking out the
perfect Christmas gifts for every family member.
Tina loved the movie The Sound of Music and looked forward to its airing on TV each year. Her
and her son Dominick watched Star Trek every night because Tina loved watching Captain Kirk.
Tina gave her all to her family and she will be deeply missed.
