Ariana was the strongest, bravest, sweetest light of our lives. She faced every day with courage, love and a spirit that inspired everyone who knew her. Though her time here was far too short, her impact and her love will stay with us forever. Despite her diagnosis she always encouraged everyone around her with her positivity. Ariana brought light, laughter and love into every moment and her memory will live on forever in our hearts. She had a strong relationship with the Lord and now has her wings. She will continue to guide us with her faith.
Left behind to carry on her memory are her parents, Amanda & Abel Chaisson and Callin & Cynthia Theriot; siblings, Adalynn & Axel Chaisson and Leah Theriot; grandparents, Bonnie & Keith Welch, Dorinda & Dana Theriot, Wendy Blake and Rita & Willis Chaisson; great-grandmother, Brenda Massey; god-parents, Jeffrey & Brandie Broussard; aunts and uncles, Candice & Timothy Scott, Albert & Melissa Chaisson and Samuel & Laura Chaisson; cousins, Alexia & Channing Broussard, Jordyn & Payton Scott, Breanna Byrd and Chelsi Theriot; and many friends, especially Lexi, Zoey & Annabelle.
She was reunited with her great-grandparents, Louis "Bo" Massey, Helen & Lee Ellender, Callin & Ozite Theriot and Mary Russell; aunt, Rebecca Byrd; and uncle, Dana Theriot Jr.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 11, 2025 at Cross Church Houma (2600 Coteau Road, Houma) from 9:00 AM until service time. A celebration of life will begin at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow in Grace Christian Memorial Garden.
The family would like to thank the staff at Ochsner Medical Center, Children's Medical Center, the oncology team, Child Life nurses, Dr. Lotterman and Dr. Yaw for their care and compassion.
