Charlene Robertson

Charlene Martin Robertson, beloved wife, mother and mimi, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Thursday, November 6, 2025 at the age of 73.
Charlene retired from NSU where she dedicated over 30 years of service. A talented cook with a warm and generous spirit, she loved spending time in the kitchen - whether preparing meals or watching her family carry on her love of cooking and baking. She also enjoyed watching cooking shows and cheering on her favorite football teams. Above all, her family was the center of her world, especially her grandchildren. She will forever be deeply loved by her family and friends and will be greatly missed.
Left behind to honor her memory are her husband George "Boogie" Robertson, who she was married to for 52 wonderful years; her daughter, Jeri Robertson Pinell; her son, Rex Robertson and wife Melissa; her cherished grandchildren, Alaina, Connor and Caroline Robertson; her sisters, Jane Martin Rouse and husband Jeff and Donna Martin Ponson and husband Lloyd; and her nieces, Katie Kovarik and Anna Andrews.
She is reunited with her parents, Charley John Martin and Audrey Lee Leblanc Boudreaux.
A memorial visitation will be held on Monday, November 17, 2025 at Samart Funeral Home (4511 West Park Avenue, Gray) from 9:00 AM until service time. A religious service will begin at 11:00 AM.
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to those who provided care especially her longtime best friend Lisa Duet, her friend and neighbor Patty Rhodes and the staff of ACG Hospice.
