Gregory Charles Robertson

Gregory Charles Robertson, 40, of Bloomington, Indiana, joined his Lord and savior in Heaven on November 4, 2025 surrounded by his father, mother, and brothers. Greg is remembered for his love of the outdoors, playing guitar, fishing with his friends, and love of animals, especially his favorite dog Angel. Greg was a beloved son, brother, uncle, and grandson.
Greg was born on December 19, 1984, to Tony and Kathy (Smith) Robertson. As a child, he played in Bloomington youth sports, including baseball, football, and wrestling. However, his favorite sport has always been golf. At the age of 12, Greg made a hole in one on hole 17 at Cascades Golf Course.
Greg graduated from Bolton High School in Tennessee in 2003, where he played on the varsity golf team. After high school, Greg began his tenure as a tile setter in Memphis. He worked on a wide variety of homes and businesses and quickly began to master his trade. Upon returning to Bloomington in 2006 to be closer to family and friends, Greg continued refining his artistic ability to create beautiful designs and creations. Greg had a true passion for working with his hands and took great pride in the products he was able to build. Following his tile career, Greg shifted to golf maintenance, where he became a skilled green keeper at Bloomington Country Club. He combined his love for golf, attention to detail and love for the outdoors to provide superior playing conditions for all players.
Greg is survived by his parents, Tony and Kathy Robertson; brothers, Anthony (Brooke) Robertson, and Levi (Donna Alwine) Robertson; Nephews, Isaac and Everett Robertson; Nieces, Sydney and Lindsey Alwine; Grandparents, Judy Robertson, Tom and Joyce Smith; Uncle, Jeff (Julie) Robertson; Aunts, Tammy (Kevin) Sips, and Natalie (Brian) Smith. Greg was blessed with a large and loving family, including many aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends he considered family.
A memorial service for Greg will be held at Allen Funeral Home on Sunday, November 9, 2025, at 5:00 p.m. Family and friends may visit on Sunday from 2:00 p.m. until the start of the service.
In lieu of flowers, we ask that donations be made in Greg's name to The Boys and Girls Club of Bloomington or Unionville Church of Christ.
