Ariyah Neshae Hardy, 19, Louisville, died Sunday, January 4, 2026 at Norton's Children's Hospital in Louisville. A native of Shelbyville, she was the daughter of Dedrick Antoine Hardy and the late Danika Cochran Underwood. She graduated from College View Education Center in Elizabethtown. She was employed as a package handler for Federal Express. In her leisure time, she enjoyed styling hair, listening to music and attending concerts, traveling and shopping. She was a member of St. John United Methodist Church.

In addition to her mother, one brother, Amiyah Hardy, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her father, Dedrick Hardy of Eminence; two sisters, Danesha T. Hardy of Atlanta, GA and Toni M. Evans of Shelbyville; seven brothers, Lakerryan Hardy and Keith Hardy, both of Chattanooga, TN, Damaja Hardy, Jawon Hardy, DaJari Hardy, Dacorey Hardy and Dwayne Hardy, all of Shelbyville; her paternal grandparents, Joy Underwood and Clifford Norman; her maternal grandparents, Jacqueline Lancaster and Greg Marshall, both of Shelbyville and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Monday January 12, 2026 at St. John United Methodist Church with visitation after 11 a.m. Rev. Damon Brooks will deliver the eulogy, and Rev. Les Harris will officiate. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
