Born to Eternal Life on Saturday, September 3, 2022 at the age of 92 years. Arlen lived in Wisconsin most of his life. He "retired" to Ocala, Florida to enjoy the warmer weather with LaVerne, his devoted wife of 49 years. He is preceded in death by his parents Ernest and Agnes, and stepmom Adele Clauer, Corinne Krueger, sister, and Vernon Clauer, brother. Arlen will be deeply missed by his stepdaughters: Cheryl (Jack) Ollmann, Kathleen (Gerard) Palmersheim and Kim (David) Kietzman. Loving Grandfather of Lisa (Michael) Benoit, Jonathan (Amanda) Ollmann, Hailee Ollmann and Gabriela Ollmann; Nicole (Charlie) Rothe, Ashley (Mitch) McGuire and Lindsey Palmersheim (Logan Ketelhut); Samantha Kietzman and Garrett Kietzman. Also survived by eight great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
The family would like to thank The Windsor of Ocala immensely for the wonderful life they helped Arlen live since 2017. In his final days, the love, care and compassion everyone shared was truly appreciated. A special thanks to Hospice of Marion County for the extra care they gave to Arlen. A memorial service was held at The Windsor of Ocala on September 4th.
Memorial service to be held on Saturday, October 1, 2022 at 10:30 am at Heritage Funeral Home, 16880 West National Avenue New Berlin, WI 53151. Interment and Military Honors to follow at Highland Memorial Park (Please meet directly at the cemetery 14874 W. Greenfield Avenue immediately following the service).
