Celebrating the life of Arlene Bartholomew-Wrenn Arlene Bartholomew-Wrenn, age 66, passed away Monday, August 25, 2025. Born on the island of Trinidad and Tobago on August 23, 1959, she developed a love for reading, and had a keen eye for interior design and exquisite art. She was the devoted wife of Richard Michael Wrenn; cherished mother of Hayley; beloved daughter of Merle Bartholomew and the late Reginald Bartholomew; loving sister of Kay, Marlene, Noreen, Tony, Susan and the late Corrine. Arlene was known for her kindness, gentle spirit, and her unwavering belief in the goodness of others. Always ready to lend a helping hand, her quiet presence brought comfort and joy to everyone around her. She was proud of her Trinidadian roots, carrying her heritage with her throughout her life and sharing it warmly with family and friends. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all whose lives she touched. In addition to her immediate family, she leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and dear friends. Family and friends will be received at Jefferson Funeral Chapel, 5755 Castlewellan Drive, Alexandria, VA Wednesday September 3, 2025, 5-8 PM. Interment will take place at Fairfax Memorial Park, 9900 Braddock Road, Fairfax, VA 22032, Thursday, September 4, 2025, 10:00 AM.
