Arlene Davis

Arlene Davis, 62, departed this life on Tuesday, December 2, 2025 at University Medical Center. She was born January 9, 1963 to the late Alma Davis and James Robinson. Arlene grew up in Hollygrove community and was the eldest of six siblings.

She received her education at Paul D. Dunbar, Preasley High School, and Alcee Frotier High School. She was baptized at Mount Rock Baptist Church, where she began her lifelong walk of faith.

Arlene was a remarkable woman whose love for her community was unmatched. She had a warm spirit, a generous heart, and a presence that touched everyone she encountered. To know Arlene was truly to love her.

Arlene leaves to cherish her memory four daughters: Shantell, Rhonda, Diontrell, and Arleasha Davis; three sons: Robert (Tiffany), Ronnie and Troy Davis; one sister, Pamela Davis McCloud; and two brothers, James and Kevin Davis. She is also survived by 28 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, two godchildren, and a host of family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her step-father; three daughters: Jontrell, Robinette, and Monique Davis; three sons: Ronald, Ryan, and Jonathan Davis; two brothers: Todd and Theron Davis; and two grandchildren.

Arlene's life was a testament to strength, love, and resilience. Her memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
