Arlene Gregory, born on February 27, 1945, in Paterson, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on December 25, 2024, at Mira Vie of West Milford, New Jersey. She was 79 years old. She is 1 of 15 children born to Arnold and Jenny Drew. Arlene is survived by her devoted husband of 64 years, James M. Gregory Sr., and their loving children: daughter Dawn Ballou and her husband William of Virginia Beach, Virginia; sons James M. Gregory Jr. of Stockholm, New Jersey; Ernest Todd Gregory of Venice, Florida; and Hank Gregory of Newfoundland, New Jersey. She was a proud grandmother and loved her seven grandchildren: Shelby, Dylan, Brandon, Charley, Isabella, Brooke, and Emma. Arlene also leaves behind a large family that includes nine surviving sisters and three surviving brothers. Arlene was a wonderful, hard working woman and had a very big heart. For many years she drove special needs children to school working at Jordan Transportation, First Student and Berkshire Transportation. She truly will be missed by all those that knew her.
A memorial gathering will be held Sunday, December 29th,2024 from 12pm to 1pm at The Morrison Etheridge Funeral Home Inc., 86 Bartholdi Ave., Butler, N.J.
