Arlene MacLarty

Arlene (Penniman) MacLarty of E. Falmouth MA, formally of Weymouth and Hull, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family. She was 65 years old.
Arlene was the daughter of the late Wallace and Nelda "Burrows" Penniman. She was born in Quincy and lived in the "Germantown" neighborhood as child. The family then moved to Weymouth where she lived most of her life, before moving to Hull, and lastly Cape Cod where she spent her final day's. Arlene worked as a pharmacy technician and also as a homemaker where she lovingly cared for her family. She was a lover of bingo and also enjoyed bowling. Her greatest joy was the time she spent with her family and friends. She will be fondly remembered for her kind and gentle spirit.
Beloved mother of Sean Penniman and his wife Amy of Middleboro, Lauren MacLarty of E. Falmouth, and Roderick MacLarty of E. Falmouth. She was the loving sister of Douglas Penniman and his wife Elsie of VT; Wallace Penniman and his wife Eileen of Methuen, Audrey Purtle and her late husband Robert of Brewster, and the late Michael Penniman. Arlene was the cherished grandmother of Adrianna Romano; Gianna and Christopher Penniman, Jordan DeLuca, and Amanda Cicciu, and also her great-grandson Lincoln Holyoke. Arlene will also be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews, extended family members and friends.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Saturday 2 – 5 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital).
