Arlene Williams Obituary
Arlene was born on March 11, 1946 in Abilene to James and Margarette Williams and lived in the area her entire life. After graduating from Cooper High School she received her AS degree in Nursing from Cisco College. Arlene retired from Abilene Regional Hospital in 2015 after 40 years as a nurse and met monthly for lunch with a group of her fellow Abilene Regional Hospital retirees. She was a member of Freedom Fellowship Church who loved animals and volunteering in the Abilene Area.
Arlene was preceded in death by her sister Karen Watson.
She is survived by her sister, Sandra Runnels of Ft. Worth, Texas; nephews, Robby Watson of Llano, Texas, Jimmy Watson of Rising Star, Texas, Monty Runnels of Ft. Worth, Texas and numerous other family members and friends. Memorial donations may be made in Arlene's name to Freedom Fellowship Church, 941 Chestnut St., Abilene 79602 or Rescue the Animals, SPCA, 4620 N. 1st St. Abilene 79603.
