Arlo Eby Obituary
Arlo will be deeply missed by his children, Linda Snyder (Chris) and Arlo M. Eby III (Judy); his grandchildren, Timothy Chubb Jr., Stephanie Chubb, Lauren Eby, Samantha Burns, and Spencer Snyder; and his great-grandchildren, Marcellus Major and Timothy Chubb III.
He was predeceased by his wife, Dorothy Eby, and his parents, Arlo and Dorothy Eby.
After graduating from Abington High School he joined the United States Air Force and became a flight line mechanic on Saber jets and Starfighters. He was stationed in England and Spain.
Arlo liked mechanical things, motorcycles, cars (Fords) and bicycles.
He worked many years as a Journeyman Mechanist for PennWalt/Stokes until his retirement. Arlo enjoyed his boat and family vacations at Lake Wallenpaupack. Always a Philadelphia Eagles fan. He liked to watch golf.
Family and friends are invited to Arlo's Life Celebration on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until his funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at Freed-Givnish Funeral Home, 124 N. Easton Rd., Glenside, PA 19038. Interment will immediately follow at Hillside Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Arlo's memory may be made to the American Heart Association.
