Arlyne Tuma, beloved wife of Deacon, Gene Tuma was called from this life to her new life on September 1, 2025. Arlyne was a loving and caring mother of her three children, James Tuma and wife, Anna, Christine DeMarco and husband, Victor, Paula Platow and husband, Kerry. Arlyne was a wonderful mother and grandma to eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren: several extended family members. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gene Tuma. She will always be remembered for her motherly concern and loving generosity for each of them. Arlyne was a devout Catholic and a dedicated lady who gave many hours volunteering in her parish, as well as many years of volunteer work at St. Joseph West Mesa Hospital and the Lovelace Westside Hospital. Since her high school days, Arlyne was an associate member of the Legion of Mary and was also a member of the Altar and Rosary Societies in her parishes. Her participation in each of these activities brought a sense of joy to those who knew her because of her pleasant and happy smile and her outgoing personality. She will be dearly missed by a great many people and most especially by her loving family. Services will be held at St. Jude’s Thaddeus Catholic Church 5712 Paradise Blvd NW. Date and times for the services are pending. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude’s Thaddeus Church.
