Arlys Adzima
Feb. 11, 1940 – May 24, 2024
FOND DU LAC - Arlys R. Adzima, 84, of Fond du Lac went to her heavenly home on Friday, May 24, 2024, at Crossroads in Fond du Lac.
She was born on February 11, 1940, in Menomonie, WI, the daughter of Elson E. and June J. (nee Larrabee) Giese. On July 26, 1958, Arlys was united in marriage to Richard A. Adzima in Racine, WI. Arlys worked as a bookkeeper at Walgreen Drugs in Racine for over 30 years. She was a member of the Community Church in Racine where she was very active and sang in the choir. Arlys enjoyed reading and meeting and talking with people.
Survivors include her husband, of 65 years, Richard; daughter, Holly (William) Chapin; grandsons: Hunter (Arianna) Chapin and Shea Chapin; grandchildren: Elijah, Schyler, Eden, Calliope, and Theodore; several nieces and nephews, other relatives, and friends. Arlys was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Larry.
Visitation will be Wednesday, May 29, from 5:00 to 6:00 PM at Community Church, N6717 Streblow Dr. Fond du Lac. A memorial service will follow at 6:00 PM at Community Church in Fond du Lac with Pastors Ken Nabi and Adam Utecht officiating.
The family extends a special thank you to the nurses and staff of SSM Hospice and Crossroads.
