Armand Castelli
Age 71 of Monroeville, PA, left us peacefully on Monday, April 11, 2022. He was born on July 19, 1950, son of Armand and Genevieve (Costa) Castelli. Armand was employed by Carnegie-Mellon University for 30 years, retiring as the Housing Locksmith. His great joys in life were coaching or just being a spectator at his children's numerous sporting events. When time allowed, there was always fishing or hunting. Perhaps one of his greatest accomplishments was being a wonderful advocate for his brother Frank, always making sure Frank had the best care possible and all his special needs were met. Armand is survived by his wife, Patricia Castelli; sons, Armand, Bryan (Melanie), Nicholas (Casey); and his daughter, Lisa (Justin) Lancz. He was the proud grandfather of six beautiful granddaughters, Isabella, Graciana, Marena, Aubrey, Adelyn, and Elliana. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Salvatore. He is survived by his brothers, Frank and David (Elisa); and numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins. Friends will be received Tuesday, April 19, 2022 from 1-7 p.m. at the JOBE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, INC. (MONROEVILLE/PLUM CHAPEL) 445 Beatty Road, Monroeville (412-856-4747). Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, April 20, 2022 at 11 a.m. at St. Bernadette Church-Christ the Divine Shepherd Parish. Burial will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery.
