On October 12, 2025 Armand Colangelo was called home to our Lord, he passed away gently under hospice care after a long and bravely fought cancer battle.
Armand was born September 25, 1959 in Farmingdale, New York to his father Armand and his mother Julia. He is survived by his eldest brother Kenny and younger brothers Greg and David and sisters-in laws and dozens of adoring nieces and nephews. Along with his Life Partner of 26 years Brenda and her daughter Shellee. He is joining his parents and older brother Gary joyfully reuniting in Heaven.
Armand moved to Tampa in 1974 with his family and soon after graduated from Chamberlain High School and found a career in the flooring industry. After establishing himself he helped his parents open House of Carpets and enjoyed a 10 year career with them, after which he went to work for larger retail flooring Companies enjoying success and accolades until cancer struck in 2019. He fought fiercely for years and made a full recovery, only tho have it return this past year.
Armand will always be loved and remembered for his incredible sense of humor as well as his gift for gab. He had a tremendous love of animals and loved many dogs and cats over the years including his cat Boo Boo. We will all miss you and take solace in the fact that you are no longer suffering in pain in this life and have restful peace with our Lord and your family in Heaven. God rest your soul.
