Armella Theresa Schaefer (nee Spaeth), age 92 of Hartford, Wisconsin, passed away Tuesday, April 2, 2024.
Armella was born June 26, 1931 in Jackson, WI to Anna (nee Melder) and Frank Spaeth. She was united in marriage to Ralph J. Schaefer on September 25, 1954 at Holy Angel's Catholic Church in West Bend, WI.
Armella is survived by her loving daughters, Joyce (Peter) Martin, Karen (Gary) Sutcliffe, Eileen Cuellar and Mary Schaefer; cherished grandchildren, Nicole Cuellar (Eric Bescak), Philip Martin, Michael Cuellar, Julie (Todd) Sweney, Jennifer (Brian Becker) Sutcliffe, and Katie (Paul) Ziemer; treasured greatgrandchildren, Sadie Sweney and Elijah Ziemer; and dear sister, Vivian (James) Lisko. She is further survived by other loved relatives and friends.
Armella was preceded in death by her parents; beloved husband, Ralph; brother. William; sisters, Theresa (Robert) Hron, Mary, Bernadette, Joanne, Anna Marie; parents-in-law, Adam and Alice (nee Gitzinger) Schaefer; brother-in-law, Jerome Schaefer and sister-in-law, Ruth (David) Klink; son-in-law, LeRoy Cuellar.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, April 8, 2024 at 11:30 a.m. at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, 4886 Hwy 175, Hartford, WI 53027, with the Very Reverend Father Richard Stoffel officiating. Family will greet relatives and friends at the church on Monday from 9:00 a.m. - 11:15 a.m. Interment in St. Lawrence Catholic Church Cemetery.

Armella's family extends their sincere appreciation to the staff at Majestic Heights and Horizon Hospice for the compassionate care provided to Melly during her last days.
