Armondo "Phil" Luigi Felicetti, 91, of Philadelphia, PA, passed away peacefully in his home on July 8, 2025.
Phil was born on August 10, 1933, in Philadelphia, to the late Philomena and Ettore Felicetti. He was the youngest of six children, and was preceded in death by his beloved brothers, Joseph, Fred "Freddie," and Ettore, and his beloved sisters Nancy and Carmela "Mel." Phil proudly served his country in the United States Army. His quick-witted humor, kind heart and generous spirit touched the lives of many and he will be dearly missed.
Armondo grew up in a close-knit family and, in 1958, married the love of his life, Constance "Connie" Ruth Urban. They raised four children, and shared 61 wonderful years together before her passing in 2019.
He is survived by their four children: Paul (Diane), Susan (John), Michael (Joanne), and Stephen (Lori); and his six grandchildren Nicole, Paul, Erika, Laura, Johnny and Chris, as well as nine great-grandchildren (and one on the way), who all brought him endless joy.
Phil worked his way up through the ranks of the banking industry, and eventually became the President of Fidelity Federal Savings and Loan Association. He enjoyed boxing, bowling, pool, softball, Little League coaching, traveling, telling stories, playing cards, and visiting his cousins in Italy. Phil was always a loyal Phillies and Eagles fan. Above all, he cherished his retirement years spent on Long Beach Island with Connie, where he was an avid tennis player, skilled woodworker, and Meals on Wheels volunteer. He would often go clamming, crabbing and fishing.
At his final home in the Cedar View Apartments of Pine Valley, Phil was adored and respected by a wonderful community as he took an active role in serving others. He had a mindset of compassion and generosity. He prioritized the needs and well-being of others above his own, often through acts of kindness, generosity, and support. He served as Treasurer of the Council for several years, loved playing pinochle and canasta with his friends, making coffee and Tiramisu for community gatherings, and organizing the 50-50. He frequently cooked meals for other members of his community.
Phil leaves behind a legacy of love, humor, selflessness and compassion that will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
Family and friends are welcome to attend a visitation from 9:30 – 10:30 followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:30 on Thursday, July 17, 2025, at Saint Cecilia Catholic Church, 535 Rhawn Street, Philadelphia, PA 19111.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Phil's memory may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, a cause close to his heart.

Phil was a gentleman and chef at Cedars View. He and my husband played cards and socialized. He always had a good word to say. His baking and cooking was remarkable. His respect he had for people was remarkable. He can rest in peace now in the arms of his beloved wife Connie.

My parents lived at Cedar Views from 2018-2021. Phil was so friendly whenever we saw him in the halls, at Bingo or at the Clubhouse. After my Mom passed in 2020, he made sure to include my Dad in any activities that were happening. I will always be grateful for his kindness to them and to my family. He will be missed!
