Arnetha was a student at Central High School in Louisville, Kentucky, and graduated as valedictorian of her class on January 24, 1952. The title of her speech was "Personal Responsibility of Moral and Spiritual Values."
Arnetha attended Harlem Hospital School of Nursing in New York City in January 1954 and received her RN in Nursing on May 10, 1957, with honors in many nursing divisions.
The love of her life was taking care of the sick and traveling. Arnetha did visit many countries abroad. For example, China, Japan, Italy, Greece, Spain, Portugal, Israel, London, Austria, and North Africa. She also toured many of the islands in the Caribbean and Mexico.

She was preceded in death by her siblings, Geneva, Autrice, and Charles Eskridge. Left to cherish her memory are her nephew, Leroy Morrow (Noreen), her niece, Lisa, her cousins Mark Williams (Carmen) and Kenneth Aldridge (Cassandra), her great niece Kortney Morrow, as well as her great nephew Justin Morrow, along with numerous others. She was a loving sister, aunt, nurse, and friend to many.
