Arnetta "Carolyn" Jones, age 82, of Fletcher, Oklahoma, met her heavenly Father Monday, August 21, 2023.
Carolyn was born in Fletcher, Oklahoma on June 28, 1941, to Thomas and Edith Conrad.
She graduated from Fletcher High School, later married Robert Jones and they had two sons: Jeffery and Aaron Jones. Together, they lived in Germany, North Carolina, and Texas until they settled down back home in Fletcher, Oklahoma. She worked as the Fletcher Elementary secretary until she retired.
She was a faithful attendant of the Fletcher Assembly of God church her whole life and she enjoyed being with her family.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents: Thomas and Edith Conrad; three siblings: Howard Conrad of Fletcher, Harold Conrad of Tulsa, and Eveline Clinkenbeard of Gainesville, Texas, and her husband: Robert Jones.
Carolyn is survived by her two sons: Jeffery and Aaron Jones and wife Beccy of Fletcher, seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

My deepest condolences to Carolyn's family. We cousins were all so sorry to hear of her death. She was our last living aunt. None of us knew her very well, because she and my late Uncle Bob Jones lived in another part of the country, and the Jones descendants now are very scattered, the older generation all having passed on.
I was very touched by her selfless devotion all those years to Bob during his very long illness, and then later caring for her son with his own health issues. She faithfully sent a Christmas card every year, full of news of her grandchildren, and she occasionally would call when she heard there had been a tornado near us, or when she heard something about one of the Jones cousins or in-laws. Family was very important to her, as was her faith. My late father admired her strength of will tremendously, giving her all the credit for creating a strong family life for Bob.
I am sure she will be dearly missed by her children and their children, as well as in her community and her church family.
