Arrie J. Brubaker

Arrie J. Brubaker, 73, of Roscoe, IL, passed away on Monday, August 4, 2025 in her home surrounded by her loving family.She was born on January 16, 1952 in Beloit, WI, the daughter of Tommie and Lois (Wood) Seay. Arrie was a 1971 Hononegah High School graduate. She married Lyle D. Brubaker on January 19, 1974 in the First Baptist Church of Beloit, WI.Arrie was a talented seamstress which led her to owning and operating Caseys Sewing Center from 1976 until her retirement in 2020. She was known for her quilting skills and found joy in creating them. Arrie enjoyed going to Warrens Cranberry Festival every year. She was very family oriented and proudly took care of many family members. Arrie attended River of Life United Methodist Church.Survivors include her husband of 51 years, Lyle D. Brubaker; son, Lyle N. (Ann Gauthier) Brubaker; siblings, Tommie (Karen) Seay, Bobby (Beverly) Seay, Shellie Olson, and Tammy (Gary) Seay Wright; several nieces and nephews.Arrie was predeceased by her parents; sister, Rhonda Seay; and brother, Randy Seay.A Funeral Service for Arrie will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, August 9, 2025 in the Daley Murphy Wisch & Associates Funeral Home and Crematorium, 2355 Cranston Rd., Beloit, WI, with Chaplain Mark Maxted officiating. Burial will be held in Roscoe Cemetery. Visitation of Remembrance will be held from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service Saturday in the funeral home.
