Arsenia T. Abila, 74, of Salinas, passed away unexpectedly on September 16, 2025. She was born on February 23, 1951 to Benito and Florencia Tomas in San Jose City, Nueva Ecija, Philippines. She came to the United States in 1970.

She worked for Seaside Post Office for 18 years, then moved on with Monterey Bay GI Consultants Medical Group where she retired from in 2019.

She loved to garden and grow vegetables, go fishing & camping with her children & grandchildren, and loved being around her family.

Arsenia is survived by her children, Michelle Hunter (Matt) of Salinas, Marc Bomacto (Aileen) of Sacramento, Maureen Bomactao of Sacramento, Grace Abila of Salinas, Paulette Torculas (Joe) of Redding, Leona Ventura (Justin) of Las Vegas, Olivia Abila of Salinas, Art Abila (Carisa) of Castroville, her sister Claire Ugto (Jess) of San Jose, numerous grandchildren & great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Abila, her parents Benito & Florencia Tomas, her brother Enrique Tomas, and sister Carmen Ibarra.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, Oct. 1 from 3pm to 7pm at Struve & Laporte Funeral Home, 41 W. San Luis St. Salinas, CA. 93901.

Funeral Services will be on Thursday, Oct. 2 at 10am, Struve & Laporte Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Queen of Heaven Cemetery, 18200 Damian Way, Prunedale, Ca. 93907
