Arseno Baccari

Arseno Baccari of East Rockaway, NY passed away peacefully on Monday October 2nd, 2023.
Beloved Husband of 61 years to Maria Baccari. He was a devoted Father to Marisa (Fabrice),
Robert (Loreta), Theresa (Greg). Cherished Grandfather of Christopher, Matthew, Vincent,
Brianna, and Gabriella. Loving great-grandfather to Luke James.
Arseno was born in Italy on December 1, 1936, in San Donato Val Di Comino, from a family of 8
where he met and married Maria and immigrated to America. He was a tailor by trade, and
worked at Petrocelli, Dumont, and After Six Clothing. He eventually was employed by Barneys
New York which was the world's largest mens and womens clothing store as the Head Chief
Executive of Alterations. He managed over 1,500 alteration employees across the many
departments at Barneys.
He lived in NYC, The Bronx, and eventually moved to East Rockaway, Long Island where he
lived the American Dream. Arseno loved traveling back home to Italy and spending quality time
with his family. He enjoyed picnics, fishing and his love of skiing, of which he was an instructor
for many years at Sterling Forest. He will be greatly missed!
