Arthur was a US Vietnam Marine Veteran, and a self-employed master carpenter.
Survivors include three daughters, Delia Dougherty and Shana Adrian both of New Jersey, and Amanda Muldoon and husband Tim of Virginia Beach, VA, two step-sons, Connor Tacket and Charles Tacket both of West Virginia, son-in-law, Ed Dougherty of Florida, grandchildren, E.J. Dougherty, Jessica Dougherty, Justin Muldoon, Taylor Muldoon, Nicole Adrian, Katy Bowlby, Dawson Tacket, Jacob Tacket, and Jason Tacket, as well as seven great grandchildren, and one sister, Joyce Somerville and husband Bill of New Jersey.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. on Monday July 14, 2025 at the Lantz Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Edray Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 1 until 2 pm at the funeral home on Monday July 14, 2025
Donation of Sympathy may be made to Mountain Hospice, 1002 S, 1002 Crim Ave, Belington, WV 26250.
