Arthur John Beaman, III, affectionately known as "Jack," of Stockton, NJ, passed away at his home on August 10, 2025. He was born on August 25, 1950, in Jersey City, NJ, and lived a life marked by hard work, dedication, and love for his family.
Jack retired after an impressive 38 years with the NJ Carpenters Local #715, where he primarily worked in oil refinery operations in Linden, NJ. A graduate of Roselle Catholic High School, Class of 1968, he embodied the spirit of the ultimate "do-it-yourself" enthusiast, capable of fixing nearly anything that came his way. In 1989, he built his home in Delaware Township, NJ, a reflection of his hands-on approach to life and a place where he created lasting memories with loved ones.
An avid reader, Jack enjoyed consuming novels and magazines, and he found immense joy in watching movies of all kinds, whether they were engaging dramas or light-hearted comedies. He also took great pleasure in researching varied topics on his home computer. Jack was passionate about travel and embarked on countless adventures with his beloved wife of 48 years, Claire M. (Flynn) Beaman. The couple experienced the joy of sailing on 50 cruises together, with the picturesque Bermuda being a cherished destination.
Jack's family was his pride and joy. He is survived by his wife, Claire; his son, Christopher, and daughter-in-law, Jennifer Beaman of Ocean, NJ; his daughter, Megan Beaman, and her fiancé, Tony Ramos, of Alexandria, VA; and his granddaughters, Alexandra and Cameron Beaman, who brought him immense happiness. He also leaves behind his brother, Jeff Beaman, and sister-in-law, Jill, of Boise, ID; his sister, Margaret O'Neal, of Boise, ID; and his sister, Nell Beaman, of North Wales, PA, his brother-in-law, Patrick Flynn, and his wife, and Lynn, along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Jack was predeceased by his parents, Arthur J. and Anastasia (McKenna) Beaman, Jr., and his brother-in-law, Rob O'Neal, who provided him with a strong foundation in life. His legacy of love, creativity, and commitment to family will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
A memorial celebration of Jack's life is being planned for a later date.
