Anthony (Tony) Vincent Santucci, Jr., of Basking Ridge, NJ, passed away in his home on October 19, 2025.
A Memorial Visitation will be held in Paul Ippolito Berkeley Memorial, 646 Springfield Ave., Berkeley Heights, NJ on Thursday, October 23, 2025, from 5-8 PM. There will be a Prayer Service and Words of Remembrance in his honor starting at 6:30 PM during visiting hours. A Private Interment will be held in Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington on Friday, October 24, 2025.
Anthony was born in Newark, NJ and raised in Roselle. He graduated from Roselle Catholic High School where he then furthered his education by earning a Bachelor's Degree from Kean University.
He was employed for many years with the Register and Transfer Co. in Cranford as a Stock Transfer Agent. Prior to that, he worked for UPS and most recently Target.
Anthony had many interests and hobbies. He became a master of playing the electric and acoustic guitar, starting lessons at the age of 6. He also dedicated many hours in building Fender guitars for his son Anthony. And both nephews, Michael and Vincent. He was always happy to play along with them any chance he had. It was one of his greatest joys. He also spent many hours listening to all kinds of music: opera, especially Mario Lanza, classic country, blues, Led Zeppelin, 1950's rock and roll (Buddy Holly), Springsteen, and classic rock.
Anthony was also an avid reader, and extraordinarily knowledgeable on many subjects. He always added a unique perspective to any conversation. He was well known for being an avid Raider and NY Mets fan.
He and his son will always have a special relationship. Anthony made it a priority to pass down to his son what he was taught by his dad, "Big Tony." Anthony was a jack of all trades. When you saw him, he either had a guitar pick in hand or a screwdriver, always looking to fix something. Sometimes both! He created long lasting friendships with his Roselle Catholic High School friends which always meant a great deal to him.
He enjoyed spending time with his family on annual vacations in Wildwood Crest. As well as holidays, birthday parties and any special celebrations. His relationship with his nephews and niece will be cherished by all 3. He was a devoted dad and terrific uncle. Who made time for everyone and was always there when needed, without ever being asked. He was and will always be a man with a "heart of gold."
Anthony is the beloved husband of Karen (nee Petruccelli); loving father of Anthony G. Santucci; Loving son of Theresa (Triano) Santucci and preceded in death by his father Anthony Vincent Santucci Sr in 2017; Cherished brother of Alisa Santucci & Brother in law of Richard Ham, their children Michael & Gillian. His sister Andrea Santucci and her son Vincent: Beloved grandson of George and Francis Triano; Pasquale (Patsy) Santucci and Anita (Martino) Santucci
He will be forever in our hearts and always on our mind.

My uncle inspired me to play guitar and made any conversation funny. He always came and visited me and my grandma, and my mom, fixed something, and could talk for hours. He enjoyed family vacations and gatherings. He was smart and loved sports. I just wish I could have told him I loved him one more time.
