Arthur Capri Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Heritage Funeral Home & Cremation Services - Panama City on Aug. 13, 2024.
Arthur James Capri, 75, of Panama City, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 10, 2024.
Arthur was born on November 30, 1948 in Scranton, PA. He attended St. Nicholas School as a child in Passaic, NJ and graduated from Passaic High School. Art went on to work for and retire from The Salvation Army, where he was a stellar employee, managing their transitional housing for 15 years. He also was a Supervisor at Grolier Telemarketing for 12 years.
Art was the most compassionate human being you could meet. He loved people, had a heart for God, and was an awesome Grandpa that loved all his grands. Art was a friend to everyone and most of all he was a loving and faithful husband. He will never be forgotten.
Art is preceded in death by his parents, Arthur James Capri, Sr. and Anna Lori Dorohovech; brother, Joseph Capri; and sister, Kathleen Knaur.
Left to treasure his memory is his wife of 21 years, Edna Thomason Capri; stepdaughters, Robin Moore and Melissa Nichols; and grandchildren, Trey Pierce Miller, Makayla Hayes, Tyler Brown, Kristian Brown, Alexa Moore, Lauren Bentley, Sarah Nichols and Brooklyn Nichols.
A celebration of life will be held 11:00 am, Saturday, August 17, 2024 at Hiland Park United Pentecostal Church with Pastor Rodney Capps officiating. Following the service, everyone is invited to come and continue the celebration with food in the lobby of the St. Andrews Towers Apartments.

My first memory of Uncle Art was his zanny personality at Grollier. He was such a inspiration and light hearted individual who loved everyone he met. My favorite memory was me chasing him in the mall a few years back. We had a good laugh. He was loved by many and never met a stranger. Will be dearly missed.
