Arthur Lee Clary

Lee Clary, 79, passed away Wednesday, October 29, 2025, surrounded by his loving family at his home in Hatley. He was born October 16, 1946, in Crisp County to the late E.N. Clary and Merle Watkins Clary.He was also preceded in death by a brother, Billy Clary. From a young age he had a love for farming and hunting, leading to a life-long passion. He served in the Georgia National Guard from 1966 - 1972. He married Jane Worley, who not only was his wife, but his farming partner for life. He was an original founder of Arabi Gin Company and an active member of Oklahoma Baptist Church. Lee is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Jane Worley Clary; two daughters Christy Brady (Caleb) and Lori Moore (Tim); three grandchildren, Marlee Jane Moore, Maggie Lee Moore, and Bowen "Bo" Joseph Brady; his beloved dog, Scout; two sisters, Nan Clary Merritt and Judy Clary Franks; sister-in-law, Alma Ida Clary; along with numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 1, 2025 in the chapel of Rainey Family Funeral Services with burial following at Oklahoma Baptist Church Cemetery, 1098 Oklahoma Church Road, Cordele, GA 31015.
