Arthur Pedro Correira, Jr., 90 years old, passed away on June 18th, 2025, in Bradenton, FL.
Arthur was born in Fall River, MA in 1935 to Arthur Pedro Correira, Sr. and Anna Correira. He enlisted in the United States Air Force in 1955. Arthur served at the Pentagon, Andrew's Air Force Base, Japan and one tour in Vietnam from 1964 to 1965. In 1975, Arthur retired from the Air Force with an Honorable Discharge and moved to Olney, MD. He then worked for the Nuclear Regulatory Commission until his second retirement in 1995 when he moved to Bradenton, FL and lived for the remainder of his life.
Arthur was pre-deceased by his wife, Rose Correira, and is survived by his daughter, Joanne Correira, daughter-in-law Jennifer Cormeny, his son and daughter-in-law, Kevin and Julie Correira, and his granddaughters Sydney and Isabella.
Arthur's funeral service will be held on June 30th, 2025, at Sarasota National Cemetery at 10:30 a.m.
