Arthur Norman Cosner Sr.

Arthur Norman Cosner Sr., 89, of Maugansville, MD, departed into the arms of his Savior on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, at his home.
Born Saturday, March 21, 1936, in Piedmont, WV, he was the son of the late Arthur S. Cosner and the late Bertha B. (Stagg) Cosner.He was also preceded in death by his wife Arlene G. Cosner.
He was employed with Maugansville Elevator and Lumber Co., Paramount Feed and Pennfield Feed. Recently he worked part time at Glenwood Foods in Greencastle. He was a member of Stone Bridge Church in Hancock, MD. He was a member of the Gospel Tide Choir and the Cumberland Valley Christian Choir. He helped in various churches with pulpit supply and taught the Wednesday night Bible Study at Stone Bridge Church.
He is survived by his daughters, Deborah Sue Smith and Lisa Diann Browning and husband Terry, sons, Arthur N. Cosner, Jr. and wife Cindy son, William E. Cosner, grandson, Artie Cosner, III and wife Kelly grandson, Tyler Smith and wife Shaena, grandson, Aaron Browning and wife Lauren, granddaughter, Carissa Gipe and husband David, great-granddaughter, Maddie Cosner, great-granddaughter, Laken Cosner, great granddaughter, Savannah N. Gipe, great grandson, Sebastian L. Browning, great grandson, Kai X. D. Gipe, great granddaughter, Remy A. Gipe, great granddaughter, Hailee E. Browning.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Juanita Fazenbaker.
Services will be held Tuesday, October 14, 2025, at 10:00 am, at the Stone Bridge Church, 14904 Orchard Ridge Rd. Hancock, MD, with the Pastor Harry Strite officiating.
Family will receive friends at the Douglas A. Fiery Funeral Home 1331 Eastern Blvd. North, Hagerstown, MD on Monday, October 13, 2025 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
Interment will be at the Beaver Run Cemetery, Burlington, WV.
