Stephen Douglas Keller

Stephen "Petey" Douglas Keller, 76, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away, Sunday, February 22, 2026, at the Meritus Medical Center.

Born Sunday, December 4, 1949, in Hagerstown, MD, he was the son of the late Earl Cash Keller and the late Mildred Lola (Kline) Keller.

Stephen graduated from North Hagerstown High School in 1967. He dedicated 47 years to the aircraft industry, beginning his career at Fairchild and retiring from Sierra Nevada. In addition to his professional life, Stephen gave generously of his time as a youth sports coach, mentoring countless young athletes in baseball and basketball. Petey enjoyed spending time with friends and was especially fond of the camaraderie he shared with the West End Boys and the Boys Club basketball crew.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Vicki Keller; children, Troy (Jenel) Keller, Todd (Jennifer) Keller, and Carrie (Rodney) Wagerman; grandchildren, Camryn (Lynn) Keller, Marcus Keller, Lakin Keller, Calli (Gavin) Quinn, Mya Keller, and Maddy Wagerman; brother, Alan; and his many special nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his siblings, Marsha, Carolyn, Larry, Curt.

Services will be held Friday, February 27, 2026, at 10:30 am, at the Douglas A. Fiery Funeral Home, 1331 Eastern Blvd. North Hagerstown, MD, with the Pastor Tim Fisher officiating.

Family will receive friends at the funeral home, Thursday, February 26, 2026, 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm.

Interment will be at the Cedar Lawn Memorial Park, Hagerstown, MD.
