He is survived by his wife of 63 years- Sue Ann Godsey of Crab Orchard, TN, sons- Rick Godsey and his wife Dana of Crab Orchard, TN and Michael Godsey of Crossville, TN, daughter- Jeannie Woody of Crossville, TN, brother- Gary Godsey and his wife Regina of Nashville, TN, grandchildren- Jackson Godsey, Chris Kemmer and his wife Kelly, Todd Kemmer and his wife Nicole and Houston Woody and great grandchildren- Payton, Macy, Ethan, Madison and Ellie.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son- Jonathan Godsey, brothers- Don Godsey, Joel Godsey and Danny Ray Godsey and sister- Norma Fay Newberry.
Funeral services will be held Friday August 8, 2025 at 6pm at Hood Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 4pm – 6pm two hours prior to the service at the funeral home. The burial will be in Baker's Chapel Cemetery.
