Arthur Keith Harrell, better known as Keith, passed away peacefully at his home in Scotland Neck, North Carolina, on January 16, 2025, at the age of 69. Born on September 1, 1955, in Scotland Neck, Keith spent his entire life in the community he loved.
Keith was a graduate of Scotland Neck High School, where he laid the foundation for a life marked by hard work and dedication. He went on to become a respected Manager at Fisher Auto Parts, where he worked diligently for many years, earning the admiration and respect of colleagues and customers alike.
A man of varied interests, Keith found joy in the thrill of sweepstakes and gambling. He had a passion for working on lawnmowers and cherished the time he spent outdoors, surrounded by nature. Keith also took great pride in fixing things for his beloved granddaughters, always eager to lend a helping hand and share his skills.
Keith was preceded in death by his parents, Tachie and Ruby Harrell. He is survived by his wife, Kimberly Harrell, of the home; his daughter, Michelle Harrell Hale, of Scotland Neck; and his cherished granddaughters, Piper and Avery Hale. He also leaves behind his sister, Sybil Cabell; his brother, Marty Harrell, and his wife, Belinda; and his brother, Danny Harrell, along with nieces, nephews, and friends who will miss him dearly.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 19, 2025, from 2:00 to 3:30 PM at Garrett-Sykes Funeral Service~Letchworth Chapel. Keith's family and friends will gather to remember a life well-lived, sharing stories and memories.
