Arthur G. Horner

Arthur Horner of Levittown, PA passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 11th. He was 84 years old. Arthur was born in Tire Hill, PA on June 30th, 1936 to the late Irvin A. Horner and Haddie (Nee Blough) Horner. Arthur was the beloved husband of Betty (Nee Custer) Horner. He was preceded in death by nine sisters and five brothers. He was also preceded in death by his daughters Florence Haddie Horner, Nicole Ann Horner and his granddaughter Kelly Jean Horner. Arthur is survived by his children Brian (Maureen) Horner, Douglas (Donna) Horner, Michelle (Thomas) Donovan. His grandchildren Briana (Dan) Horner, Jessica (Chase) Gnade, Chelsea Horner and Justin (Taylor) Horner and Drielle Horner. His great grandchildren Izabella, Aiden and Jaxson. Arthur was a veteran of the Korean War and was extremely proud that he had the opportunity to serve his county. He worked 41 years at the US Steel as a heavy equipment mechanic. He enjoyed his time as a Boy Scout leader and spending that time with his sons camping. Arthur was a member of the First Baptist Church of Levittown. Arthur enjoyed spending time with family and friends, fishing, hunting, bowling, and archery. His favorite hobby was gardening, and he enjoyed sharing his bounty with others he also liked sitting in the sun watching over his garden. Due to the current pandemic uncertainty, services will be private. Arthur will be laid to rest at Forest Hills Cemetery in Huntington Valley, PA. The family is grateful for all those that have reached out and the support and love that has been shared with them during this most difficult time.
