Arthur Ray Huff was born on March 25, 1955, in Keosauqua, Iowa, to Allen and Floy Laree Downing Huff. He graduated from Fox Valley High School with the class of 1973. Soon after, he entered the workforce, assisting with the installation of Milton's new sewer system. His true passion was farming, and he spent many years as a dedicated farmhand serving Gooden Grain and Glen Randolph Farms.

Though not fond of large crowds, Arthur was known for his friendly nature and was considered a friend by many. In his later years, he found joy in beginning his days at Lake Sugema, walking around the water and adding to his cherished fishing lure collection. A skilled outdoorsman and hunter, Arthur appreciated time spent in nature.

Arthur kept up with local news by making regular stops at the post office and the Bonar Bell Garage. He especially treasured taking his mother on scenic drives through the countryside. Family was at the heart of his life-he relished every moment with his nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews, always ready with a new nickname and eager to make them laugh.

Arthur will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His warmth, humor, and generous spirit will be fondly remembered and celebrated by his family, friends, and the community.

Arthur was preceded in death by his father, and three siblings, Brenda Lee, Jerry Lee, and Danny Dale.

Left to honor his memory is his mother, Floy Laree Huff of Milton, IA, seven siblings, Larry (Mary) Downing of Milton, IA, Sandra Pottorff of Bloomfield, IA, Bob (Connie) Huff of Ottumwa, IA, Deborah (William) Boatman of Ottumwa, IA, Don Huff of Cantril, IA, Jon (Teresa) Huff of Milton, and Curtiss (Susan) Huff of Cantril, IA, as well as many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, and many friends.
