Art (Bucky) LeSage, 79, Athelstane, passed away on Monday, August 8, 2022. He was born May 18,1943 in Marinette to Harry and Rita (Behnke) LeSage. He was a 1962 graduate of Marinette High School. He graduated in 1967 from UW Oshkosh with a degree in Economics.
He worked as a salesman for many different companies including American Can, Green Bay Foods, Armour Dial and Johnson Wax. His most rewarding job was working with the staff and students in the Wausaukee School District. He enjoyed coordinating the substitutes for the district and being in the classroom. He took pride in helping to develop youth. He was proud to be the high school assistant girl's volleyball coach for many years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, the Green Bay Packers, Milwaukee Brewers and the Wisconsin Badgers. He most loved watching high school sports because of its purity.
Survivors include three daughters and their families, Bobbie Jo (Jim) Sarenich, Pulaski, Jodi (Jeff) Smogoleski, Ashwaubenon and Jamie (Jane Rowe) LeSage, Merrill. grandchildren Kelsey Jo and Rory Sarenich. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister and nephews.
The family would like to thank Heartland Hospice for their compassionate support and Dr. Pawneet Singh for his exceptional care and patience.
He wanted no funeral, only an intimate graveside ceremony with his daughters and their families. Thielen Funeral Home is assisting the family.
In lieu of flowers, thank a teacher. A memorial scholarship fund will be established in his name for Wausaukee High School. Memorials can be mailed to Bobbie Jo Sarenich 8398 South Chase Rd Pulaski, WI 54162.
